The free PlayStation games in January

PlayStation Plus customers receive a selection of games for free every month. There are three games in January 2021 – TECHNOLOGY BUTTON reveals what they’re good for.

In order to be able to play online with the PlayStation , users must subscribe to Sony’s online service PlayStation Plus. The service costs 60 euros per year, but can also be booked for around nine euros per month. The biggest advantage of PS-Plus: Every month subscribers receive games for the PlayStation free of charge and can play them as long as they are PlayStation-Plus customers.

The PS Plus games in January

The January games will be available from January 5th and will be available for download until February 1st, 2021.

PlayStation Plus Collection free for PS5 buyers

Since the PlayStation 5 has been available since November 19, the PS Plus games also apply to the new console in November. Sony has gone a step further and is giving all buyers of the PS5 the Plus Collection with a total of 20 games, including a few hits.

The collection is intended to provide a basis for owners of the new console for whom there have not yet been very many new titles. The games are available for free download and can be played as long as PS Plus is subscribed.
