PlayStation Plus customers receive a selection of games for free every month. There are three titles in November 2020 – but one of them exclusively for the PS5.
In order to be able to play online with the PlayStation, users must subscribe to Sony’s online service PlayStation Plus. The service costs 60 euros per year, but can also be booked for around 8 euros per month. The biggest advantage of PS-Plus: Every month subscribers receive games for the PlayStation free of charge and can play them as long as they are PlayStation-Plus customers.
Since the PlayStation 5 will be presented in November, the PS Plus games will also apply to the new console in November.
The PS Plus games in November
Middle-earth: Shadow of War (PS4 and PS5)
Shadow of War takes place between the events that play out in Tolkien’s Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. The player infiltrates Mordor behind enemy lines and must build an army and take fortresses. In Sauron’s army, so-called “Nemeses” develop, special opponents who develop individually. Defeating these opponents brings the player rich loot that can be used to upgrade weapons and skills.
Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition (PS4 and PS5)
Enter the underworld in this dark 2D platformer to defeat depraved creatures and make friends with bizarre bugs. Ancient cities and deadly wastelands of the ancient kingdom can be explored in the underground caves. In order to survive in boss fights, you have to unlock new skills and adapt them to your individual game style.
Both PS Plus games for the PlayStation 4 will be available for download from Tuesday, November 3rd to Monday, November 30th.
Bugsnax (PS5 only)
Bugsnax celebrates its PS5 premiere as a plus game. Unfortunately, PS4 owners are left with nothing. As an investigative journalist, the player visits an island where the mysterious and legendary Bugsnax live – a mixture of beetles and snacks. Discover and catch all 100 creatures and unite the islanders.
Bugsnax will be available just in time for the launch of PS5 on Thursday, November 12th. The game will then be available free of charge to PS Plus members until Monday 4th January.
Last chance for the October Games
Need for Speed: Payback (Ersterscheinung im November 2017)
Classic Need for Speed meets GTA. “Need for Speed: Payback” is mainly about the spectacular lawn with tuned carts, but not just anymore. Around the races, the player experiences a story around three characters and can move around in an open world.
Vampyr (first published June 2018)
Vampyr is aimed at adult gamers. The Thrid-Person-Action-RPG takes place in a dark world that is not for the faint of heart. Protagonist Jonathan Reed has turned into a vampire. The doctor is now forced to find victims to supply himself with blood. A quandary situation that often puts the player before moral decisions.
