Some games planned for the Nintendo Switch in the coming year 2021 are already known. These include some real highlights!
The Nintendo Switch is one of the most popular consoles in the competitive gaming market. The Japanese manufacturer relies primarily on flexibility and a hybrid model that allows gaming on the big screen as well as in practical handheld mode. Games like “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” or “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” were designed – successfully – especially for the Switch. In addition, titles from various other developers have now appeared for the console. But which games are actually planned for the Nintendo Switch in 2021?
Some highlights and first news about “Zelda: BotW 2”
2020 was a good year overall for Switch. The demand for the console rose sharply – probably also because of the corona pandemic. For weeks the Nintendo Switch was only available on the black market. On the other hand, Corona stopped the development of many titles, especially in the high-end area. Nintendo Switch users can look forward to the new year 2021 and the planned games all the more!
Among other things, the German title “ Lord of the Rings: Gollum ” will appear for the Switch in the course of the year. In addition, new editions or new titles of the farming favorites “Harvest Moon” and “Rune Factory” are on the list. With “Super Mario 3D World” another in-house highlight is in the starting blocks (planned for February 12, 2021). In addition, developer Capcom announced that in March with “Monster Hunter Rise” a game of the popular series for the Switch will be released.
Many Switch users should be particularly excited about the sequel to “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”. So far, little is known about the new flagship game, but it is certain that it will not be released before March 31, 2021. However, industry experts assume a release date in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2021.
