New month, new streaming offer on Amazon Prime Video. In March 2021, fans of relaxed streaming will again have a lot to see on the couch. There are not only sequels to well-known series, but also new Amazon Originals!
One of the largest video streaming providers out there is Amazon. Prime customers of the online retailer can not only use the free premium shipping for 69 euros per year (34 euros for students) or 7.99 per month (can then be canceled monthly), they are also available with Amazon Prime Music and Amazon Prime Video two streaming services are available.
So that Amazon Prime Video can keep up with competitors such as Netflix and Disney +, the provider adds to the selection of series and films every month. The company also produces its own content under the name Amazon Originals. TECHNOLOGY BUTTON reveals which new films and series Amazon Prime Video customers can look forward to in March 2021. However, it should be noted that the offer can be expanded by Amazon at any time.

New series and seasons
There is not so much going on in the series section on Amazon Prime Video this month. However, some new series will start in March, such as “Hoodie” or the in-house production “Invincible”. The final season of the fantasy series “The Magicians” is also available to Amazon Prime customers.

Invincible (March 26th)
The animated series “Invincible”, designed for an adult target group, is based on the comic series of the same name by Robert Kirkman. It’s about the teenager Mark Grayson, who starts developing superpowers on his 17th birthday. And that’s not all: His father is none other than “Omni-Man”, one of the most powerful superheroes in the world!
The new films
March is going to be a really good month for movie lovers on Amazon Prime Video. In addition to top-class music like “The Discovery of Infinity”, classics such as “Brokeback Mountain”, “Harold & Kumar” and “Being John Malkovich” also land on the streaming provider. Among other things, some productions from Germany are in the program again with the film “Die Goldfische”. It is about a banker (Tom Schilling) who struggles with himself after a serious accident in rehab. And with “The Prince from Zamunda 2”, an Amazon original, the popular cult figure (played by Eddie Murphy) finally continues almost 30 years later.

Hugo Cabret (from March 11th)
In the successful film “Hugo Cabret” by Martin Scorsese, Asa Butterfield plays twelve-year-old Hugo, who works as a primal maker in Paris in the 20th century. His real passion, however, is the increasingly successful medium of film. Together with Isabelle (Chloe Grace Moretz) he follows hidden clues that his late father left for him in order to get a mysterious machine working again. The children get help from “Papa Georges” (Ben Kingsley), a toy seller whose past seems to be linked to that of Hugo’s father.
Prisoners (from March 20)
The two daughters of two families disappear without a trace after dinner together. Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman), father of one of the two disappeared, then investigates on his own. In the process, he himself is increasingly targeted by the investigating detective (Jake Gyllenhaal) and a race against time begins.

The series and films mentioned above are included in the Amazon Prime subscription and are therefore available to customers free of charge.
