Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping events worldwide. Originally introduced in America, retailers in Germany are now also celebrating the bargain days with offers and discounts. Some are even particularly early on. For example, Amazon already offers the early Black Friday deals. But are they also worthwhile? TECHNOLOGY BUTTON did the check.

Black Friday traditionally takes place on the Friday after Thanksgiving every year. This year it falls on November 27, 2020. But the hunt for the bargains begins the week before at many retailers such as Amazon, Media Markt / Saturn, Cyberport and Notebooksbilliger. In addition to Black Friday, Black Friday week, which this year begins on November 23, 2020, was created. The shopping days are closed on Cyber Monday, the Monday after Black Friday.

Early Black Friday offer on Amazon in check

With its early Black Friday deals, Amazon is promising up to 40 percent off thousands of items. In addition to technology deals, buyers will also find promotions from the toy, kitchen and household sectors. In contrast to Prime Day, those customers who do not have a Prime membership can also benefit from the Amazon Deals. However, Prime customers have 30 minutes early access to the lightning offers, which can be sold out quickly under certain circumstances.

Solid state drive storage (SSD) is becoming cheaper and cheaper and therefore belongs in every PC. The Roomba i7556 of the vacuum cleaner robot Primus iRobot is one of the best smart vacuum cleaners on the market. Another dealer in the network also sells the Roomba i7 + at this price, but without an Echo Dot (3rd Gen). This has a value of around 48 euros. The bundle on Amazon is therefore only slightly worthwhile in terms of price. But if buyers are planning to buy an Echo device for the robot vacuum anyway, they can’t go wrong with Amazon.

Amazon Extends Return Deadline

If you have clicked the order button too quickly in the heat of the moment or if the bargain turned out not to be the right one, you currently have longer time to return the products. Amazon has extended the return period in the run-up to Christmas. All products that Amazon ships between October 1 and December 31 can be returned by buyers until January 31, 2021. This also includes orders placed before and on Black Friday.
