“Diablo 2: Resurrected” is entering the alpha test phase

Wizards, mythical creatures, magical worlds – Diablo 2 is a classic in the genre of fantasy role-playing games. Blizzard is now starting the first playable test phase for the remake.

Blizzard has announced the first test phase for “Diablo 2: Resurrected”. If you are lucky, you can take the test. The prerequisite is registration on the Blizzard website and a gaming PC.

Alpha version playable for a limited time

The game developer invites you to test the remake of “Diablo: 2 Resurrected” on its website. Gamers can access the first “Technical Alpha” version of the game from April 9th at 12:00 noon. The test period ends on April 12th at 7:00 p.m. You can register for the Alpha on the Blizzard website . But be careful, it’s a lottery. This means that only a limited number of participants actually get access to the game. PS4 / PS5, Xbox and Switch are also excluded from the test.

Apart from that, a multiplayer test phase will follow at a later date. Blizzard is aiming for the release date for the second part of the role-playing saga in 2021.

What can we expect in the Alpha of “Diablo 2: Resurrected”?

Those who get access to the Alpha can choose from three classes. The choices are Amazon, Barbarian and Sorceress. In addition, the first two acts of “Diablo 2: Resurrected” are playable. In addition, there is no level limit in the trial version. However, the progress will not be carried over into the finished game. For those unable to take part in the Alpha, there is a small downer. Blizzard allows the game to be streamed. So there will likely be a lot of gameplays on YouTube and Twitch.
